TetherFree's directory application gives access to corporate
directories through a wireless device. This provides staff
with a real-time directory of people in the organization,
driven by one or more external databases. The user can locate
people based on name, job duty, role or location. The application
provides the contact information and provides the user with
the ability to call the targeted person immediately in an
integrated process.
All TetherFree applications are targeted to the needs of specific
clients. The functionality, the selection of devices, and
the selection of network and the adaptation to client databases
are all done to meet the individual needs of the client and
their mobile staff. TetherFree provides applications for Palm,
Pocket PC, WAP, PageWriter and RIM devices, in addition to
laptops and other client devices.
